I SURVIVED COMIC CON! // REVIEW

It’s been over a year since Into Film sent me to Comic Con with my little buddy Max to experience a weird and wonderful world that I had never seen before. Welcome to MCM Comic Con 2016!

Going to MCM Comic Con with 12-year-old Max was the wisest decision yet. He knew everything! It was ideal for me as a beginner and a great chance for Max to share his passion with a newbie. Max educated and helped me to understand the different cosplay characters and multitude of stands for all different comics. It was a learning experience for me as I wouldn’t have spent my own money and time here before, but he got me hooked!

“Max, where we’re going we don’t need roads!”

Alongside the action, we got to speak to Jesse Eisenberg about who he would play in any film of all time and hint at a guest appearance in The Big Bang Theory. Needless to say, he was a pretty cool guy.

Going to MCM Comic Con as press gave me such a huge insight to a world that I am not familiar with. The amount of hard work and time that goes into creating a costume for one day of the year is well and truly marvellous and it takes such passion to commit to, which was admirable.

Although I couldn’t personally relate to such an event that has been happening since 2010, I found a new love for people and their hobbies. For me, I got to witness another part of film and meet dedicated people who really do adore these actors and characters.

My first MCM Comic Con was a success and you never know, I might go again some day…

Peace and love,
newsig
